Thursday, August 7, 2008 Music on the Green Series - Jazz Last year's jazz event with KJZY was so much fun we've decided to offer it again. Besides the great wine and wonderful music, this year we'll have our delicious burgers on hand (Gourmet Burger meals by reservation or first come first serve.) Meal includes: Cheeseburger on a Dutch Crunch Roll, Curry Potato Salad, Heirloom Tomato and Arugula Salad and a Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Friday, August 15, 2008 WAGS, WHISKERS & WINE GALA The Humane Society & SPCA of Sonoma County invites you to their annual Gala at St. Francis Winery & Vineyards to benefit the Angels’ Fund – helping sick or injured homeless animals. Guests will enjoy a full gourmet dinner, delectable hors d’oeuvres, wine & beer tastings and the sounds of Not So Big Band. Over 100 Silent Auction items and an exciting Live Auction will give guests the chance to bid on vacation getaways, wine, pet items and more. A pet show featuring our animal Angels will top off the evening. A special thanks to St. Francis Winery & Vineyards for hosting this purrfect evening under the stars.

We invite you to join us in a family-style celebration of the heartiest Lobsters to be pulled from the sea. Saturday, September 13, 2008 Bingo and BBQ Join us for an evening of fun with two all American favorites – Bingo & BBQ . Expect a lively evening with prizes ranging from the absurd to the delicious, and an open BBQ buffet with all of Chef David’s own favorite BBQ dishes. The game will be played outdoors so dress casually and be prepared for mild evening temperatures.

Sunday, October 5, 2008 Blessing of the Animals Celebrate the feast of our namesake, St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals. We invite you to bring your animals to be blessed here by Father Leslie in the gardens of our Visitors Center. Enjoy seeing many exotic animals from Safari West, Lyons Ranch and the Humane Society & SPCA of Sonoma County. Take home a souvenir framed photo of you and your pet. Enjoy wine tasting for yourself and treats for your pet. We will crown the new Sonoma Winery Dog and Cat of the Year.
