| What does it cost to join? What benefits do members receive? | |
5 |
There is no obligation to join and you may cancel after 2 shipments. Besides wine club shipments at a discount, members are entitled to discounts on additional wine purchases, merchandise orders and special pricing for winery events such as winemaker dinners. There are also several wine club "members only" events throughout the year, including our special annual Fandango Celebration. |
| How do automatic shipments work? | |
6 |
Members automatically receive up to eight shipments from the Winery per year. Your credit card on file is charged prior to each shipment and you will be notified by email of impending shipments. See details for Patrons Club or Zinfandel Club. |
| What is automatically charged to my credit card? | |
7 |
Included in the charge placed on your credit card for the automatic shipments is the cost of the wine less your member discount, plus applicable tax and shipping. Shipments will be automatically billed to your Visa, MasterCard or American Express. The average charge for shipments will be $100 plus applicable tax and shipping. |
| What if my credit card is not approved for a shipment? | |
8 |
You will receive a notice asking you to contact us to update your credit card information so that we can process the shipment you missed. With an approved credit card you will then receive your follow-up wine shipment. |
| How do I place an order for wine? | |
9 |
Members can place orders online 24 hours a day, or Monday thru Friday during normal business hours by contacting a Wine Club representative by calling (800) 650-5437, or emailing wineclub@stfranciswinery.com and on weekends by calling (888) 675-WINE, ext. 242 and speaking with a Tasting Room staff member. Our knowledgeable staff can answer all your questions about available wines and help fill your order. |
| How do I give a St. Francis Wine Club membership as a gift? | |
10 |
It's as simple as filling out a Wine Club signup form with your information in the mailing and credit card fields and the gift recipient's information in the shipping fields. The automatic shipments will be billed to your credit card. You can designate a gift to be either ongoing or to continue until the number of gift shipments you indicate have been sent. |
| How do I change my membership information (address, phone, credit card, etc.)? | |
11 |
Use the convenient update form on on our website or you may contact a Wine Club representative using the above contact information. Please notify us promptly of any address or credit card changes so that you can receive your wines with minimum inconvenience. |
| What if I'm not home when they try to deliver my shipment? | |
12 |
The delivery agent will either make two more attempts or will leave notice that a delivery was attempted and ask you to make re-delivery arrangements. We strongly recommend using a business address for your shipments since wine shipments require the signature of a person over 21. If this is an issue for you, please contact us to discuss alternatives. |
| What if my shipment could not be delivered and was "returned to sender"? | |
13 |
Contact a Wine Club representative by calling (800) 650-5437, or emailing wineclub@stfranciswinery.com and re-shipment arrangements will be made -- or we will contact you to make new arrangements. |
| Why can't wine shipments be sent to every state? | |
14 |
Due to restrictive legislation regarding the direct shipment of wines into particular states, the Patrons Wine Club cannot ship wine to the following states: DE, LA, MD, ME, MT, ND, OK, PA, RI, SD, TN, UT. We are also currently able to ship wine club shipments only via a special distribution system compliant with individual state regulations to the following states: AZ, DC, IN, MA, NJ, OH. Any applicable sales tax will be added to your total. Allow up to one month for delivery to these states only. Wine shipping regulations are in a state of flux and we may be able to ship to your state in the future. Please contact us and we can hold your information on file until shipping is allowed to your location. |
| How do I cancel or suspend my membership? How can I rejoin? | |
15 |
Contact a St. Francis Wine Club representative by calling (800) 650-5437, or emailing wineclub@stfranciswinery.com to cancel, suspend or reinstate your membership. If you plan to be away for an extended period, we can arrange to hold your wine, ship your wine to an alternate address or storage facility, or suspend your membership during your absence. You may cancel at any time. Members are responsible for notifying a Wine Club representative of their intent to cancel. We confirm all cancellations in writing or by telephone to ensure that your membership is closed. Upon canceling, there will be no further obligation except for wine shipped prior to receipt of the member's request to cancel. Rejoining is easy. Just call us and we’ll update your records. |
