Taste Sonoma
Our four Estate Vineyards: Behler, Wild Oak, Lagomarsino, and Río Este showcase the diversity of Sonoma County. Each of our vineyards possesses its own unique soil profile, micro-climate, and geographic distinction adding expression to the fruit and ultimately the wine. From foggy valley floors to sloping riverside hills the nuances of these regions are put on display within each glass poured. Caring for more than 400 acres of Certified Sustainable Vineyards between Sonoma Valley and Russian River Valley, we take great pride in showcasing one of the world’s premier grape-growing regions.

SONOMA VALLEY
The original St. Francis estate vineyard, named Behler Vineyard after Will Behler, one of Sonoma Valley’s agricultural pioneers. Our founder Joe Martin purchased the vineyard in 1971. Located on the northern-Sonoma Valley floor and bordered on two sides by Sonoma Creek, the soil profile is loam and gravel. The climate is moderated by both the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. It is a cool growing region ideal for both Chardonnay and Merlot.
