Wine Cocktail Ingredients
4 oz Old Vines Zinfandel
1.5 oz Citrus Syrup (see below)
2 oz club soda
Orange (for garnish)
Wine Cocktail Technique
- Mix syrup and wine
- Add ice
- Top with soda water
- Garnish with an orange slice

Citrus Syrup Ingredients
Peel of 1 lemon
Peel of 1 orange
¾ cup of granulated sugar
½ cup of lemon juice
¼ cup of orange juice
1 teaspoon fennel seed
½ teaspoon pink peppercorns
Citrus Syrup Technique
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pot
- Heat until sugar is dissolved, do not boil
- Let steep 2 hours
- Strain and refrigerate
